Refund Policy

Programming Services: For all web design and programming services, no refunds can be given. All such services are bid and approved by the customer prior to any work being completed. It is the customer's responsibility to make Midwest Programming Inc. (MWP) aware of any problems with costs, prior to any work being started. Once the customer accepts the bid, MWP will attempt to stay within the bid as is reasonably possible. If there are any additional requirements or changes to the original project scope, then MWP shall be allowed to adjust the final project price through negotiation with the customer. This includes changes to deadlines, project requirements, or other unforeseen work which may become necessary to successfully complete the project.

Web Hosting Services: All web hosting services are billed in advance, according to the customer's desired billing cycle. The customer may terminate hosting services at any time, however, no refunds can be given for hosting services in a billing cycle that has already begun.

Cancellation Policy

Programming Services: A customer may choose to have work on a current project stopped before completion. If this ocurrs, MWP will cease all work on the project and surrender the code and any other associated project materials to the customer in their current state. MWP will then approximate the total percentage of completion, and the customer will be responsible for rendering payment for that percentage of the total project price.

Web Hosting Services: The customer may terminate the hosting agreement at any time. If the customer terminates hosting services prior to the end of the first year, a termination fee will apply as is defined in the hosting agreement. If the customer chooses to terminate services beyond the first year of service then no penalty will be applied. In either case, the customer must request termination of services prior to the start of the billing cycle in which he/she wishes to discontinue service in order to avoid paying for that billing cycle as per our refund policy.

Privacy Policy

MWP values its customers and their privacy. Any customer information obtained by MWP will only be used in the following three ways:

• 1) Some statistical information is gathered when anyone visits an MWP website or any of our customer sites, as is normal practice in the web hosting industry. This information, which includes the visitor's IP number and browser type, is gathered in order to allow the customer to analyze and determine if the website is reaching its intended browser and/or regional demographics.
• 2) MWP will gather basic contact information in order to be able to reasonably contact the customer regarding his/her MWP hosting account. This may, from time-to-time, include promotional emails regarding services and/or discounts available to existing customers. Customers may opt-out from such promotional emails by email request (see contact us). MWP does not share customer information with 3rd-parties, nor does MWP gather customer information from 3rd-parties.
• 3) MWP will gather customer financial information as is necessary in order to process payments that have been initiated or otherwise authorized by the customer. MWP will make every effort to ensure that customer information is processed and/or stored safely and securely. In the event that MWP needs to store customer payment information, such as a credit card number, MWP will store that information in a secure location and format in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Additionally, such information will only be stored temporarily for the duration in which it is needed. Recurring payment information will be stored securely with our payment processor(s), whom also comply with the PCI DSS.
